Look how lovely the limestone looks when it is freshly place. Then imagine that everything was painted in colorful decoration. Now place thousands of people milling around- The Mayan city of Tikal comes to life! This was right near some of their "ball game" arenas, where they would play for the honor of the winner (that is right, the winner) being sacrificed!
