Caune cave is just below Perillos, an abandoned village filled with Templar myths and monk secrets or legends. This is very near the mighty remains of the Salveterra Castle or Castle Perillos on the impressive plateau above Opoul. It is said, a hermit monk lived in this cave, which he called the entrance to the underworld. (Sounds almost Mayan), found the very first "Black Madonna." The plateau you will see often in the distance, is where people believe time travellers will make contact with us, from our future.
