Valkenburg; Limburg, The Netherlands- Castles and more
Thanks, once again, to Anky and Ger, we could this time leave with Bianca included and head to the "show of The Netherlands" or the state of Limburg. In particular the south part, rich with history and stayed in Valkenberg. The sites were just lovely and the castles numerous. The nicest one from the outside was the one we walked upon sort of by accident (notice the wild deer that sprang in front of us! Felt like we were Robin Hood or something!). The most impressive overall was in Hoensbroek and called "Hoensbroek Castle," which was the most restored castle and complete tour I have ever seen and everyone was impressed.
